Established for over 70 years, we have 10 highly skilled, full time veterinary surgeons with a combined experience of over 100 years and almost 30 staff members.

The practice was started back in 1939 by Bob Taylor, whose premises were then located in Globe lane off Crown Street. At the time it was the only coastal practice between Sydney and Bega and saw "all creatures great and small".

Rapid expansion of the business saw Bob move to our current address in Keira Street in 1949. Since then our practice has continually grown with the building of the Woonona/Bulli Clinic in 1975, major extensions to our Wollongong Hospital in 1993 and the purchase and upgrading of the Corrimal Veterinary Clinic in 2001.

Bob Taylor moved on in the 1960's, and now our group of practices employs 8 veterinarians and some 18 receptionist, nursing and cleaning staff. In the process we have become a hospital dedicated to small animal care.

Wollongong

Wollongong Veterinary Hospital is a fully equipped air-conditioned 'A' class hospital. It is located at 70 Keira St and has been in Wollongong for almost 70 years. We have 2 consulting rooms, a large waiting room, treatment room and a sterile surgery room. We have large, modern cages for our patients that are admitted to hospital as well as boarding facilities.

Corrimal

Our modern air-conditioned branch clinic is open 6 days a week for consultation. We are located at 122 Princes Highway, Corrimal. We have a large waiting area, wide range of veterinary products and a large consulting room. Patients admitted to hospital are regularly taken back to our Wollongong hospital. We also have puppy pre-school classes here regularly. Ample parking is available at the front and rear of the building.

Woonona - Bulli

We have just moved into a brand new, purpose built branch clinic at 9 Railway St, Bulli (opposite Bulli train station). We have a large consult room and waiting room. Patients admitted to hospital are regularly taken back to our Wollongong hospital. We also have a large range of products and accessories. Ample parking is available at the front and rear of the building.

Warilla - Shell Cove

Opened on the 5th of May 2008. this is our newest clinic located at 11 Lake Entrance road, Warilla (on the way from Warilla to Shellharbour shopping center). Most cases are dealt with on site, some cases are sent back to our Wollongong hospital. We also have puppy pre-school classes here regularly. Consultations are made by appointment at this Branch.
